OUR HISTORY
Since 1980, the Whitecourt Martial Arts Centre has grown from a small community club into one of Canada's most respected Taekwondo training centres. Built on the foundation established by Master Jim Rennie Sr. and carried forward by Master Jim Rennie Jr., the club has produced nationally and internationally recognized athletes, developed instructors who have opened clubs throughout Alberta, and provided training opportunities around the world, including Korea, Thailand, Spain, Greece, and the United States. Today, while honouring more than four decades of tradition, excellence, and community involvement, the Whitecourt Martial Arts Centre continues to inspire students of all ages to achieve their personal best both on and off the mat.
